Experience:
I'm a student studying BSc Computer Science degree in Brighton (UK). I've been composing since age 12 (now 22) and using midi for the last 2 years.
Hardware:
Intel P2 450mhz Soundblaster AWE64 Gold (built in synth module) Roland JX3P used as controller
Software:
Cubasis saving for Cubase VST
Other Info:
I'm currently writing software to analyse midi files and detect recurring themes and chord sequences and then add extra parts such as chords and counter melodies. This is the final project for my degree I haven't looked into midi programming (under win95) before so I'd be glad if any gurus out there could offer help. Thanks Pete

Experience
I've been messing around with MIDI for about a year now. I haven't done anything really great with it, but I'm having a good time.
Hardware

Software
I use Midisoft Studio 4.0 (great program-WYSIWYG notation, on the fly transcription, looping, up to 32,000 tracks) Win95 (UGH!! I wish I had bought NT 3.5) and an SB32 w/8MB of RAM, giving full AWE emulation I also have a Yamaha PSR-310 (it's good enough for me) and a pair of Altec-Lansing ACS-52's (I hope to get the money for their subwoofer this summer)
Other Info
Does anyone know of a 32-bit SBK or SF2 editor (that's not Vienna, EsBeeKay, or Preditor)? I've just had nothing but problems with those. Please e-mail me any URLs that might have such a program.
