I have been working with MIDI for about three years, so I think I'm and expert. My setup consists of a 90Mhz Pentium PC with 16 Megs of memory and Soundblaster AWE and MusicQuest MQX-32M dual midi interface/SMPTE card. The midi ports on the Soundblaster and MusicQuest cards are driving an Ensoniq SQ-2 keyboard synthesizer, a Bontempi AZ9000 keyboard synthesizer and a Yamaha DD-12 drum machine. I'm using a Pioneer amplifier and a Fostex X-28H 4-track recorder.

Software is Cakewalk Professional for Windows 2.0 and Musictime 1.1. I'm also using a copy of Cakewalk Apprentice that came with Soundblaster. I have just started writing music and would like to exchange original pieces.
