I have been involved with MIDI since 1987. Originally began working with synths, samplers, Mac & Atari sequencing software at the largest MI music store in VA. Then started working in a recording studio, around the same time, in the evenings. I've worked with and owned pretty much all manufacturers of MIDI devices and will do so for life.

Experience: I've been studying piano for 20 years, but I work in MIDI for the past 2 years. I love 'Latin' music (Cuban, Brazilian), and I'm specially interested in sequencing this kind of music.
Hardware: I've a Pentium 200, a Roland SC-55st, a keyboard Roland A--30, and a Sound blaster AWE32
Software: I like to use Cakewalk and Finale.

Experience: About 4 years, all self-taught. Love things with lots and lots of continuous sound and/or in a minor key.
Hardware: 2 Dell 486 somethings (one buffed up a little) a couple printers and a little bitty Yamaha PSR-510.
Software: Voyetra something-or-other (which came with a nice screen saver utility), some shareware programs which I am always adding and deleting to fit my needs, and Cakewalk, which I started out with and never intend to give up.
