There is a lot I don't understand in the field of Midi and I am trying to find information that might help me getting to know the matter better. I'm a software engineer for Coda Music Technology, working in the Notation Product Development area. I am a developer for Finale, the world's leading music notation program, as well as it's junior siblings, Finale Allegro and PrintMusic. I have also worked on the SmartMusic Studio product line, which was formerly known as Vivace. I've been using MIDI for a number of years, and got started with MIDI programming in grad school for my master's research project. In 1995 I created this "Twin Cities MIDI" website because of my interest in MIDI programming. I passed the webmaster task on to David Stevens in December 1997, due to time constraints, but am glad to see the site is still alive and well.

Roland HP 1700L digital piano, Yamaha CBX-T3 Tone Generator, Roland D10 Synth, Motorola Starmax Mac Compatible computer. Also use Mac G3 and Intel Pentium III machines at work for music software development.
